On the day of the test, you must bring an identity document. The results will be sent to you by email on the day of the event. After obtaining the code, you must, within a maximum period of 5 years from the date of obtaining this eligibility, take the practical driving test. During these 5 years, you are entitled to a maximum of 5 presentations to pass the practical test. If you already hold another driving license, including theoretical and practical tests, established for less than 5 years, you only take the driving test. The benefit of the admissibility of the theoretical test remains acquired in the event of a change, either in the training course or in the category of the driving license. Note: there is no system of equivalence in France for a theoretical test which has been passed in another country.
The Highway Code does not provide assistance for people who do not have a good command of French. Only deaf or hard of hearing or non-French speaking candidates can follow specialized sessions. During these sessions, they benefit from the appropriate communication device of their choice.
